Turbomeca Africa’s roots go back as far as 1967, then known as Atlas Aircraft Corporation and later Denel Airmotive. In 2002, Turbomeca France (51%) and Denel (49%) entered into a joint venture and Turbomeca Africa was established. Being now a subsidiary of SAFRAN with its vast experience makes Turbomeca Africa a true contributor to the world aviation industry. Based adjacent to the O R Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, Turbomeca Africa has extensive capabilities in manufacturing, new assembly and maintenance, repair and overhaul of both commercial and military aircraft engines. |
