Turbomeca Africa has extensive capabilities in manufacturing, new assembly and maintenance, repair and overhaul of both commercial and military aircraft engines.

Service List

Turbomeca Africa’s manufacturing facilities are capable of manufacturing aircraft engine parts as per European Aviation Safety Agency part 21G and ISO 9001 requirements. A team of qualified manufacturing engineers, consisting of process planners, CNC multi-axis programmers and tool specialists ensure the successful processing of parts from raw material to final product with highly trained artisans operating the latest advanced technology machine tools.

 

MANUFACTURING

Turbomeca Africa’s engine maintenance, repair and overhaul division has both international and local certifications like the European Aerospace Safety Agency part 145, the South African Civil Aviation Authority, and ISO 9001. With more than 30 years experience in various aircraft engine types, Turbomeca Africa’s state of the art workshop is a true one-stop repair centre for aviation turbine engines.

MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL OF ENGINES

With the same type of certification as the engine section, Turbomeca Africa‘s accessory maintenance, repair and overhaul mini factory has served the worldwide aviation industry for more than three decades. Extensive tooling and test equipment complement the company’s vast experience in fuel and engine component maintenance. Turbomeca Africa’s accessory support includes components for the Oryx, Rooivalk, Agusta A109, Super Puma, and Puma helicopters.

MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL OF ACCESSORIES

With full support of the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Turbomeca Africa has complete parts repair facilities to refurbish high cost critical Makila, Turmo and Arrius components as per European Aerospace Safety Agency Part 145 and South African Civil Aviation Authority CAR 145. The success of this activity is achieved with the commitment of skilled artisans using the latest technology including heat treating, coating, welding, machining and selective electrochemical finishing, resulting in shortened lead times, rapid response and cost effective solutions for our customers.
